“I have been involved at Jack and Jill since 1987 when my eldest daughter attended. I was so impressed with the preschool and the lovely atmosphere and I decided to start training in childcare and hoped that one day I would be lucky enough to work there. I was employed by the owner in 1990 and have now been the Manager and Owner since 1997. I keep up to date by attending relevant training courses. In addition to my Preschool Alliance qualifications I have level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, as well as training in paediatric first aid and food safety and hygiene. I have attended Early Years foundation stage courses and Communication and Language Development courses. I am the designated child protection person in our setting and share the SENCO role.”
